The buildingSMART openBIM Awards 2025 are open for submission!
We invite you to showcase your project and be part of this internationally renowned program celebrating excellence in openBIM. This year, finalists will have the opportunity to present their work at the buildingSMART International Summit in Berlin, taking place from 22–24 September 2025. Winners will be announced during a special ceremony on the evening of Wednesday 24 September.

buildingSMART International and Women in BIM Announce Strategic Partnership
buildingSMART International (bSI) and Women in BIM (WIB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration on digital innovation and inclusion in the built environment. This partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of openBIM standards while promoting diversity and cross-industry engagement in the global digital construction sector.
BILT Europe 2025 Is Just Around the Corner Last-Minute Deals for bSI Members!
BILT Europe 2025 is taking place April 23th - 25th 2025 at the Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.
The BILT Europe events align with buildingSMART International’s (bSI) strategic direction. Last year, bSI and DBEI formalized a strategic agreement built on a shared vision to streamline processes, improve interoperability, and drive innovation within the industry.

PCERT Program Highlights SummitPCERT at the Singapore Summit
We were thrilled to offer PCERT Foundation exams and a crash course during the Singapore Summit! A total of 68 participants took the Foundation exam and qualified - with 30 participants based in Singapore. A big thank you to everyone who joined and helped make this event a success!
Welcome to our First Registered Training Provider in India: India now has its first Registered Training Provider for the Foundation level TechnoStruct Academy. We’re proud to see PCERT expanding into new regions and look forward to more activity in South Asia!
openBIM Practitioner The international openBIM Practitioner certification program is off to a great start:
• 2 Chapters have already signed up to implement the program • 1 Candidate is certified after passing the exam with a 9.2/10 score • 1 Registered Training Provider has officially joined to deliver this new certification
