buildingSMART International would like to invite you to the “IFCprecast Expert Panel” event in Frankfurt, September 5th, 2018. This project which started two and a half years ago through the buildingSMART German Chapter aims to bring alignment and standardization to exchange formats in the prefabrication process. This standard will deliver the value of BIM into the precast process, and, align CAD, MES and PPS systems more closely through common languages and data formats through the international IFC standard. This will provide better visibility and for designers and contractors and provide whole-life value for asset operations for the building lifecycle

This event will bring together experts from around the world to participate in the international expert panel to support the IFCprecast project team and consortium in their technical work. The project is still ongoing and consists of a core project group with representatives from both industry-leading technology providers and industry professionals.
