buildingSMART International are pleased to announce that HOCHTIEF ViCon GmbH have joined their membership community.

ViCon state that the decision to join was based on common values and strategic goals as well as the mission to facilitate the active use of BIM and to spread open data standards.

Mr. Dirk Schaper, the Managing Director of HOCHTIEF ViCon GmbH, is also a member of the Board of buildingSMART International and has for many years been the speaker of the Supervisory Board of buildingSMART e.V. German Speaking Chapter.

Richard Petrie, buildingSMART Chief Executive commented that he was very pleased to welcome HOCHTIEF ViCon and looks forward to working with them and other HOCHTIEF companies.
