ExCom has developed the programme shown below for the meetings in Abu Dhabi and we are circulating it now so that you can book the dates in your diaries and consider travel and accommodation. There may also be an opportunity for a site visit and/or a tour on the Friday.

 Our Middle East colleagues hope that as many international guests as possible will attend the conference.  The first day will focus on the plans for the public sector in the region.  Some 400 attendees are expected, including a lot of senior government personnel with considerable spending plans. The second day will be more technical and some 200 attendees are expected.  Our hosts have kindly offered free entry to the conference and lunch and dinner hospitality throughout the week for bSI International guests.

We are working to get out programmes for the conference and booking instructions as early as possible in January.  The conference organisers will designate a number of convenient hotels, with concessionary rates for attendees provided they book by a certain date.  However some attendees may find it advantageous to book a flight and hotel package.  The online registration system will allow both approaches.
