8.8.3.9.1 Semantic definition

The IfcCartesianPointList2D defines an ordered collection of two-dimentional Cartesian points. Each Cartesian point is provided as an two-dimensional point by a fixed list of two coordinates. The attribute CoordList is a two-dimensional list, where

first dimension is an unbounded list representing each 2D Cartesian point;
second dimension is a fixed list of two list members, where [1] is the x-coordinate, and [2] the y-coordinate of the Cartesian point.

The LayerAssignments can override a LayerAssignments of the IfcRepresentation it is used within the list of Items. IFC2x3-CHANGE The inverse attribute LayerAssignments has been added. IFC4-CHANGE The inverse attribute LayerAssignment has been restricted to max 1. Upward compatibility for file based exchange is guaranteed.
	StyledByItem	SET [0:1] OF IfcStyledItem FOR Item	Reference to the IfcStyledItem that provides presentation information to the representation, e.g. a curve style, including colour and thickness to a geometric curve. IFC2x3-CHANGE The inverse attribute StyledByItem has been added.

*	Dim	IfcDimensionCount	This attribute is formally derived. `IfcPointListDim(SELF)` The space dimensionality of this class, either 2 or 3, depending on the sub type.

1	CoordList	LIST [1:?] OF LIST [2:2] OF IfcLengthMeasure	Two-dimensional list of Cartesian points provided by two coordinates.
2	TagList	OPTIONAL LIST [1:?] OF IfcLabel	List of tags corresponding to each point that may be used to identify a basis curve according to the Tag attribute at IfcOffsetCurveByDistances. Also used to identify IfcSectionedSolidHorizontal or IfcSectionedSurface shape string lines ("guide curves") when used within an IfcProfileDef curve of type IfcIndexedPolyCurve.
